2. Providing a Bibliography or Reference List
You also need to provide a list of sources at the end
of your work. This is known as a bibliography or reference
list.
There is a difference between the two terms:
A reference list is a list of the sources you have
directly quoted or taken ideas from (paraphrased).
A bibliography is an alphabetical list, by author,
of all the material you consulted regardless of whether
you directly quoted or paraphrased from it.
Example:
Brown, S.W. (1991) Beating the Big C. Sydney, Random House.
Freud, S. (1933) Interpretation of Dreams. New York, Norton Press.
Jung, C.G. (1923) Awakening the Shadow. New York, Brown Publishing.
