What will you learn? Searchpath takes you through the steps to carry out research. You will learn how to understand what your teacher wants you to do, how to go about finding the information you need and use that information ethically and legally.
How to get the most out of this tutorial
Searchpath is made up of 3 sections. To get the most out of it, work your way through each of the sections in sequence. However, you can do just one or two parts if you want to brush up on those skills only. There are quizzes throughout the tutorial to test your progress.
How long does it take?
You will be able to do all of the sections in less than an hour.
Technical requirements
Searchpath will perform best if you are using a version of Netscape or Internet Explorer that is version 6 or higher. {With an older browser a few elements of the tutorial may not function correctly.} You will also need the Flash plug-in. If your computer does not have it you can download it for free from www.macromedia.com.
